The room was big with high ceiling. The garden was pretty and well kept. The breakfast was very good. Staff were very sweet - letting us stay past check out time at a lounge to work for an hour - good nespresso machine and nice tea selection. The location is also very central. The only thing is it was not cheap on a regular Wednesday but everything else was perfect.

Beautiful hotel in Kyoto. The staff were so kind and so helpful with anything we needed and more. Lovely garden, beautiful room with an amazing wooden bath, and the breakfast was so delicious. Would love to stay here again and highly recommend it.
Excellent hotel. A different, classic world right in the middle of Kyoto. Amazingly friendly and forthcoming staff, English speakers available. Great rooms, great service. The dinner menu and breakfast was a great experience, as well. Definitively recommended!
