Very nice hotel in a great location. Hotel common areas look very stylish, best part is the public bath Room sizes are OK. Definitely on my list for future trips to Kyoto.

Definitely recommend staying here! a cute stationary shop is down the street and it's a quick walk to Nishiki Market!

I wish I could give this place 10 stars! It was my absolute favorite hotel in Japan and the price was great! It was my first onsen experience and it wasn’t anything amazing. The staff were really great though and the beds were so comfy!
Definitely recommended! Very nice and tidy room, not so big but with all necessary for your rest, the bed is amazingly big and comfortable.
We try also the public bath and also there very clean and well maintained, the water is clean and very hot.
We will definitely come back.
Rooms were tiny but the layout was very well thought out. The communal bath was really pretty and the lights were dim, so it helped relieve some of the self-conscious feeling of being naked. Everything was very clean, but it had only been open for a couple months when we stayed. Only problem was only one washer/dryer available. This caused a conflict between my partner and another guest. If you are a big person, you may not fit in the in-room shower. I am 5'2" (not overweight) and barely had room to wash myself. Had to put my foot high up on the glass wall to shave my legs. No room to bend over. The king size bed went from wall-to-wall. Behind the bed was a nearly wall wide glass window looking out to a sort of open air garden view. It was sealed off, so nobody would be in there seeing anything. This was especially impressive to us since our room was in the basement floor. It gave natural light and privacy to our room. Overall, we had a good experience and are planning to stay again.
