I decided to stay for a night in Hotel Maya Kuala Lumpur because the price per night with breakfast was reasonably cheap. The receptionist was professional and friendly - check-in process was quick and easy. Location wise, Hotel Maya is strategically located in the heart city of Kuala Lumpur. The Petronas Twin Towers are just 3 minutes away by foot. The room that I had was just average and I didn't like it that much because there was no carpet but for a night stay it was comfortable enough. The buffet for breakfast was closed so choices were pretty much limited. Overall experience was good and all staff was very nice.
If there is an option to put zero star i would definitely do that. One star only for friendly staff but the rest are very miserable.
1. I request room with bath tub but they give us no bath tub. I have to go down to the receptionist to request another room as per advertised that i bought from the trivago.
2. The water pressure is very low. Its become worst in the next morning when they running out of the cold water. We only can bath using hot water. Very very bad experience for us. I already call the receptionist but no answer. I want to complaint but no pick up.
I am very frustrated.
great location near KLCC. check in was fast. room was so so.. we were given another room on the lower floor as the first room on floor 20 was not that good.nice peaceful lounge. had a good dinner at the restaurant on 1st floor. friendly staff. breakfast is simple, perhaps justified for the reasonable price we paid.
welcoming staff. Clean room. Advocate local arts. Nice city view although blocked by the W Hotel, still amazing. Nice coffee. Nice rattan and wooden furniture. Nice lounge area, swimming pool area, sauna was great, gyn was awesome. Besutiful spiral staicase sculpture made with rusted metal. Leisure walk to KL Twin Tower, Saloma Link, etc. All and all, amazing
I would like to express my gratitude and pleasure working with Hotel Maya having had Hari, their sales manager, assist me in every detail of my very last minute planning for a boardroom meeting (less than 12 hours) and even on the spot vegetarian meal!
The full day meeting package was priced affordably with free parking and we were well fed throughout our meeting with good food. The Meeting room was spacious and facilities are well maintained as well. The team was highly considerate in allowing us to extend almost 2 hours as we were having a long discussion.
I would definitely recommend this hotel for any future events. They were truly pleasant, professional and hospitable.
