Bob and Sande have two different ways to stay in Maui...the beach condo and at their Kihei home...we stayed on the backside of their beautiful home...accommodations were comfortable, clean, and private with a delicious daily breakfast...we appreciated the free parking and flexible check out! Thank you Bob and Sande...Maui was a dream vacation...we’ll be back! ❤️
It was wonderful staying at Bob and Sande's place. We added our stay here to the memories on our trip to Maui. Lot of options for places to eat around this area. The room is comfortable for a couple, very well arranged and extremely clean. We felt very welcomed in their home. The bathroom is private with hot water shower and the bed is very comfortable with extra comforters provided. The refrigerator and kitchen were available for use. Jackets to fight cold at Haleakala summit were also provided. We were very impressed with the breakfast. When we had to leave early, it was carefully packed. When we could stay back for breakfast, the arrangement was beautiful and spotless. Knowing we had a journey ahead of us, Bob was very generous to pack breakfast for us on a Sunday, even though it was not paid for. Would highly recommend staying here. We were very pleased and you will be as well!
Given how hard it can be to find affordable, comfortable, attractive, centrally located lodging on Maui, this place is a dream come true. Bob and Sande were great hosts. The location can't be beat: walking distance from the beach, and a short drive to the best beaches on the island. We ended up staying in both rooms, and they were both wonderful. Couldn't have asked for anything more!
We stayed in the Ocean Room which is located in the host's home in a residential area. No A/C available but a ceiling and portable fans are provided. The room had 2 screen doors which both needed to be opened all night to cool the room. We found bugs on several occasion in the room, bathroom and closet. I tried not to make a big deal as my friend was deadly afraid of them so I pretended like there was nothing there and killed everything before she noticed. The breakfast was my favourite part, beautiful set up on their lanai. They also provided us with packed breakfasts for days we had to leave early in our personal fridge. The hosts are great people and extremely friendly with great suggestions for restaurants and tourist tips.
Staying at Ocean breeze was such a wonderful experience. Sande and Bob will make you feel completely comfortable and well taken care of. Their knowledge of the island helps you fully experience it. My favorite room was the ocean room with its blue accents and access to its own Lanai with fountain, a nice place to relax and enjoy some quiet time. The breakfasts were also enjoyable with fresh fruit from the island! Overall a very lovely experience.
