First of all, this house is *gorgeous*, spacious and immaculately clean. It is up a mountain and has spectacular views from the bedroom. Waruni was a kind, helpful and generous host. And the breakfast she prepared for us was plentiful and delicious. We only reserved for one day as we were on our way to Colombo, but after experiencing this place, wish we could have stayed longer. Excellent value - highly recommended!
Best host ever!!! Did her service beyond expected. I booked all her rooms for few of my wedding staff and in-laws... They were thrilled. It made my big day better... I'm so grateful Ms. Waruni...

Such a lovely place to stay and the hosts are amazing!
We were made to feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. Waruni and her husband welcomed us into their beautiful home and showed us around. There are several bedrooms to choose from. We had the family room which was so lovely! Very nicely decorated, a lovely large comfy bed, fan, aircon, double doors opening out onto a large balcony and a really nice large bathroom. There are toiletries, a hair dryer, local guide books, towels, the hosts have really thought of everything!
Plus outside of your room there is a huge communal area that guests are welcome to use. It features sofas, a dining table with chairs, TV, etc. There's also a nice outside area to sit with table and chairs.
That's not all though! There is a large kitchen area for guests to use which is so well appointed. You could cook a great meal in there if you wanted to.
We were also shown the rooftop space which is accessed by a ladder and a secret sliding door! We loved the space up there! Perfect for early morning yoga and meditation, or for those wanting to do a bit of private sunbathing....
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place for one second.
But wait, theres more....
Just when we thought it couldn't get any better... We had dinner....Wow!!!! Take our word for it... Have dinner here!!! What a delicious experience that was! The food was nothing short of superb.
We can't find a single fault to mention.
The perfect place to stay for people on a medium range budget.
