My experience was a good one.. the internal bar/restaurant has a down time between 10am and 11am..
i went down around 10:15am and found there was no more breakfast... and lunch starts at 11..
oh well there are other close places near by like lava java.
pool is nice the bar staff is great.. so is the gift shop staff..
Rooms are nice. The building is older but well taken care of.
Seating area is great as well.
i would recommend the ocean view rooms.
I came here 1/31/21-2/4/21. The staff is so friendly and amazing. The cleaning staff does great work. The view is amazing from my “partial ocean view” room, it’s more than enough ocean for me to sit on the balcony. I genuinely enjoyed my entire stay! (And the price is unbeatable for the value!) Would happily stay again.
Also, the restaurant downstairs is amazing. Sitting next to the ocean eating breakfast cannot get any better. The drinks are great, too.
Great location! Right on the ocean and walking distance to shops. The staff we're great to work with and made everything easy. They say the rooms have been remodeled but it looks like fresh paint and new carpet was all that was done. Also, worst bed I ever slept on. The mattress was rock hard but somehow we could still feel the springs. We ended up buying air mattresses to sleep on.
Probably should be 3 stars but we did enjoy the pool, food, staff and grounds a lot. Fantastic location to enjoy the fun Kona party scene but although the room had an amazing balcony, nice bed and was large and comfy, the noise into the night and early morning was unavoidable. So I will just say if you stay here, try to ge a room as far away from street side as possible unless you enjoy staying up all night. Then it might be perfect.
Right on the beach. Had a little pool, gift shops, restaurant, bar, nice scenery and the spa/massage/facial was amazing. We had a corner unit so the Lani was the size of three of everyone else plenty of space. You have four people I would recommend this room. It has a conected room option with large enough space. Only disappointment was the bathroom. For the price and the resort name I expected a larger/nicer bathroom, maybe walk in type, speaking tub or hot tub. It was small and basic.
