We love staying at the Kona Islander. We have stayed in four different units over the years. Each is privately owned and therefore different but they've all been nicely decorated and clean. We love being able to walk to all our favorite Kona spots for dinner and music.
Location location location
The woman who runs this place will try to steal your money. Do not stay here. There is about 1000 rules and if you lose your card she charges $50 dollars. There are additional charges left and right and the woman is a con-artist. Management is awful and they will not answer the phone to discuss anything. I would highly recommend staying at a different hotel as you will end up paying $300/night for dirty rooms that are small. BE AWARE!!!!
Great location, easy checkin. Room was comfortable but the floors were dirty. Not enough parking for guests, so have to park on street or mall parking.
Absolutely delightful little piece of heaven close to all the conveniences, beach, ocean, restaurants everything you could want to walk to. The grounds are well kept and lush. Highly recommend this place to anyone!
