Reviews from visitors:
My 5th year to Kona, but first time at Kona Hula Girl on recommendation of a friend who had previously stayed here. Everything here exceeded my expectations!
Dean and Sherri are awesome. Great hospitality. I stayed in the Plumeria Room. Location excellent. Could walk to town, beach. The place is immaculately clean. Room comfortable and cheerful. A bit of traffic noise where my room was facing, but not a big deal. Coin laundry available. I was very happy with my stay, and will definitely be my "go-to" from now on when I come to Kona! Thanks again Dean & Sherri!
I'm hesitant to write this review for purely selfish reasons. Great location, great rooms, great hosts. We stay here every year and hope we can for years to come. Can't go wrong.
THIS PLACE ROCKS!!!! Just returned from 3 fabulous weeks on the Big Island. Stayed in the Plumera room. This was an awesome location. We were able to walk to the Beach /Restaurant area as it was only about 10 minutes away. I loved that the place had a grill and patio, we were able to cook some meals in to save a little on dining. They keep coolers, body surf boards, chairs and umbrellas handy for daily use. Hope to come back in Sept. again. We will definitely stay here again. Dean and Sherry have an amazing place.
We love to this place. Great host, Friendly and full of advice of the local things to to. Coolers boogie boards beach towels and barbecue equipment were available as well as Library of books on Hawaii. We could look out and see the ocean from my room And were in close proximity to shops, beach, and restaurants. Going back again next year.
Best stay on the big island, clean and friendly home base for Big Island adventures!
