Location is nice, staff aren't too friendly. Checked in and then was stopped by a lady who said she had our activity bands and welcome package... It was not a welcome package or activity bands.. Basically wasted our time trying to set us up on a timeshare presentation.. Got to room and it is really nice to our surprise.. Very satisfied with the quality of the room.. Woke up in the morning and it was hot... Couldn't figure out why as we thought the A/C was on... Looked closely and noticed there was a lock on the A/C turned off.. Called and was informed we have to pay extra 10 dollars a night if we want A/C! What the hell are you kidding.. After you pay for the room they make you pay a "tax" nightly and then if you want A/C?? Thats a charge too! Ruined the stay here.. It's never good when you let your customers leave feeling like they got cheated in some way.....
The facility and grounds are immaculately maintained. The staff has been very welcoming and professional. This is our second time here and we love it. There is snorkeling and beaches within minutes of this resort.
Good people, great atmosphere. Room was clean and nicely arranged. Very happy with our stay
This place use to have flowers galore. Now not so much. They planted grass in the top of the volcano where a beautiful red flowering plant use to grow. Gardeners are lazy and grow what's easy and not what this five star resort use to be.
The check in staff are great, but the high pressure sales te are relentless. Don't fall for the we just want to update the owners, it's a sales pitch!
I love the concierge Nani. She is so enthusiastic about her job and the island. She is so infectious. Love it
