Everyone here was very friendly and knowledgeable about the island. If you are a club Wyndham owner and want to know all the good food places to eat see Eliza. She is also knowledgeable about places to visit.
Rooms are great size, new construction. Kitchens were clean and had every essentials. Even though we booked our vacation long time ahead and we are premium owners we got sub par room over looking parking lot. It just made me really disappointed. The room was stunning and spacious but the view was awful. When I requested at front desk to change they refused offcourse saying they were pre-assigned and there’s nothing that can be done, I went back to my room and took time to cool off and went back again and requested I needed a change as I had booked it while back and every place we go due to our status we are automatically upgraded and with covid I am sure you are not fully booked so I need a change of room, I really don’t care of size but view matters. While I was sharing my concerns manager came n made the change n switched us in a minute. Great!! But why would they put someone through so much before?? Why can’t they just allocate it ahead of time or agreed to help us out at first place... why sometimes they are on such power ride??? Why?
Anyways we moved and still the view was not stellar but I lived!!! I needed to see sea, period!! Else what’s the point of coming to Hawaii after spending $250,000 in these resorts points and not get what you were promised!
Staff was very friendly and grounds were well maintained and clean. Our room was located farthest from the ocean and we still had great sunsets and even spotted whales spouting. Elevators are on the small side so luggage carts barely fit.
Ideal location with an awesome view and 1.5 miles from some excellent restaurants and cute shops! Our check-in experience was very pleasant and the staff were eager to please.
Unique resort near downtown Kona. Low key atmosphere. Our room was great.
