Room was clean except the floors were fithly, we ended up putting used towels on the floor to walk on. The location was good and worked for us, the price was good as well and all rooms had balconies. All the staff members were great. We'd consider staying again, but will definitely ask to see the room first.
Had a reservation and it was cancelled without any details. Called and they said it was cancelled because they were doing renovations. This caused us to pay a lot more for another reservation due to upcoming dates for a rooms (not much left). I wish they told us about this prior to me making the reservation 2 months ago or put it on their website warning guests. - Thanks a lot!
Staff was great. The place is a tad rundown. Holes in carpet, stains in bed. Located in the heart of downtown Kona, it's very convenient to access luaus and other planned excursions. Lots of shopping and historical sites near by. Breakfast was simple, fruits, breads and coffee/juice. The hotel did not feel super safe, because it is right in the middle of downtown. Parking costs you $$$ as well. It's affordable for sure.
Bugs! Not clean and smells like mold.
Very bad experience checking in. Room not ready but told no bathroom we could use. Asked about parking and told in back but no directions. Was unable to locate. Horrible customer service.
