Reviews from visitors:
Very cute and warm ambiance boutique hotel. Feel so comfy!
There is a cafe just next to hotel lobby which make it so convenient for a cuppa lover like me, a huge plus!
Room very clean, except some mold stain in the bathroom. Overall is very good but only con is the sound proof! I could hear people closing the door, watching TV from next room and the room I chose has window which is just above the air-con compressor.
There are many many shops next door and around so can easily reach out for many kinds of food without transport! Very convenient!
Didn't want to stay in my usual hotel, I decided to search for a new place to stay in JB. Halo Hotel popped out with kind of high rating and I decided to book a room. First impression was that the room was clean and everything looked new.
The hotel is located on the second floor of a 5-storey building where the ground floor and 1st were occupied by a karaoke. Initial worry that it might be noisy at night was quashed later at night.
There's a cafe near the reception but I didn't try. Parking is available.
The wall is thin and can hear the noise from the other room. Our room can basically hear the snore from another room.
Stayed here for two nights.
It's a very clean, new, and modern hotel. Facilities wise I can only complain that there is no fridge and that the washbasin is outside of the bathroom.
Environment wise, this hotel is located in the entertainment karaoke Hotspot. Seems like all the rich boys and girls come here to drink bubble tea and karaoke until 3am everyday. Super noisy. Jam like nobodies business during peak hour, parking can be an issue.
Not recommended for those with families and kids, especially as the lift is shared with the karaoke spot on the lower floor.
Spend 2 nights as a solo traveler. Thumbs up for this new little cute boutique hotel. Very clean, safe and friendly staff with good location no shortage of food choices. If you are a light sleeper you may have a problem because the sound proof wall is almost not exist. I can hear the snore next door as well as his alarm out from his mobile phone. For RM69 per night you can't fault it. Will still recommended for solo traveler.
