Stunning design meets functionality in this unbelievable hidden gem tucked away in Melrose. Without a doubt, this is now favorite of the Capital Hotels Properties. The customer service experience is gold standard by international standards. Well done Maruchelle, Palesa and team! Thank you for making our 3 day seminar amazing. The attention to detail was second to none especially with the covid protocols. And to top it all off....the very luncheon and teas were so delicious . I can't wait to come back again. Highly recommend the Capital Melrose.
The hotel is very neat and clean, reception staff not very friendly, but the manager in charge of kitchen breakfast time is beyond amazing, i have not had better service even at 5 star hotels , well done
My room was perfect.
Very clean,neat and organized ..
My only problem was the food..
The breakfast was okay..
I had the worst steak and peppercorn sauce I’ve had in my life for dinner..
The wine and cranberry juice was really bad too.
I went back to my room to order desserts and they were even worse..
Old chocolate brownie and cheesecake..
Great hotel. Very friendly staff. Fantastic menu with great tasting food.
Rooms and extremely well appointed.
Everything you need under one roof. Definately a great stay and will be back.
What a bad experience when I visited this hotel on night of 23 December 2020, From the moment I checked in we whr approached with an attitude by reception Lady by name of Nqobile who was not helpful at all. BAD BAD ATTITUDE she has. I don't usually wish bad things to happen to people but I wish Nqobile to be fired.
Secondly another bad treatment at the hotel the following morning when we went for breakfast we had to wait fo more one and half hours for our breakfast to come after we had ordered. And it only came when we had complained to the manager on duty. I Don know if we had not complained how long we whr going to wait.
Please train Nqobile how to handle guests and please speed up the service at your restaurant.
