My favourite on Sunday brunch session, great swimming pool and very quiet. Best for family staycation. Service excellent, tremendous hospitality and always want a come again more and more soon. Enjoy!
The Dharmawangsa is/was indeed a beautiful property in the heart of Jakarta, unfortunately much has fallen into decay and poor maintenance, which I can't entirely justify due to the Covid Situation.
The staff is still very attentive, but the current level of the property, equipment and hospitality are NOT a five star hotel.
Facilities access is limited and not informed in advance during reservations and the few that remain open during Covid have limited capacity and require pre-booking. However there no control for private residents building next door who seem to overrun the facilities from the hotel leaving little to no opportunity to guests... the place seems to have no proper management between the hotel and the annex residence properties.
Also, the food is extremely pricey and the breakfast was extremely poor considering the charges. I have had better breakfasts, variety and quantity in 2 star hotels.
Overall I don't recommend any guests to take the hotel expecting it to be a 5 star hotel, it certainly is no more...
Restaurant's service was unacceptable. Made us pay down payment for 10 ppl, yet our food didnt come out after waiting patiently for 2 hours
