as I remember ..... I always stayed in this hotel for the last 6 years when travelling to Jakarta. I can not say it is a big hotel as it's location in inside the narrow street...yet I like the sense of clean when entering the room. This is the point that I always get staying here. The bed, the environment is ok. and yes...the bathroom is small but it has nice arrangement and surely can be copied for minimalist house. What make it a good one is its location. You can get transportation/taxi easier. and it seems there is no troubled person when calling online service such as uber/grab. in all directions you will easy to get food to eat as it is also close to plaza festival or mall Ambassador..all in walking distance. Go inside the alleys around, you will find more and more local food. remember, the parking lot is really limited.
Hotel with Strategic & Nice place, too bad have less room amenities (no slippers & towel available in room).
I give 3 stars because they changed the law for installment in this hotel. A year ago I don't need to put my credit card number and I still can get a good deal in this hotel through some website. But now if you don't put the number of the credit card, you only can pay with cash. And the actual price is not that worth it for what they offer. The hot water only working in the morning, not at night.
I can still check in different place (4 stars hotel) with same price.
I guess they need to cover the cakes and fruits too because they don't have smoke area in the dining room. Some fruits and cakes smell smokey for me.
I checkin for 1 night first and of course I have to have in advance during checkin. Then the next morning I told the reception we will stay for 2 more nights on the way out for Breakfast and asked her if it is okay to pay later. She said yes. At around 1 pm a guy came and knocked the door asked me to go pay for the room. I did not think that He meant I have to go pay now Immediately so I though I jist go pay whenever we go out for dinner later but then at around 3:30 pm the guys came back knocked on the door again asked me to go pay ! What the hell?
really nice and clean room... adequate facilities... but located at the narrow street... the menu catered in the breakfast buffet is just less various and not so great in taste... Sky Garden at the rooftop of it is not as large as I thought... but still pretty good experience tho...
