The word apt for this property is Comfortable. The vibe is very homely, the room and washroom are spacious. The property has been kept to give you the old and authentic vibe of a haveli. The food is very good and easy on stomach. The service is good. They have a shop inside the hotel premises to take care of small grocery needs and travel arrangements. The place is clean and there is a small garden where you can relax in evening.
Have been more than 15 years since I first dined-in at Chitra Cafe. Awesome food. Great ambience. After moving back from the US this time got a chance to stay in the hotel and it was awesome. Very comfortable rooms and every minute detail has been taken care of meticulously. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Jaipur.
Went there in March 2021. No need to book the room online. There are a number of rooms. Also, the price online is on the higher side. As it looks, it is like a peaceful place. In my opinion, it will suit senior citizens a lot. Rooms are good. However, for nearly everything, there is no room service. Only self service. Cafeteria inside the premises provide home made food at higher price. After some time it started to bite me. It was like a desolate place. One goes to jaipur to travel around and when one comes back, he has to again wait for around 45-60 minutes for food. It normally takes this much time. But, for senior citizens, its worth.
Extremely well maintained property with an old world charm. Rooms are a bit small but very clean and comfortable. The in-house cafeteria serves home-style food at reasonable prices. Location offers easy access to local city markets.
It’s the best unexplored place in the city of Jaipur. Mostly visited by foreigners and the quality of food served by the hotel is phenomenal.
They have huge garden area along with separate dining section. Also having arrangements for a perfect candle light in the garden area.
