I had the distinct pleasure of being a guest at the Ikonik Istanbul for two weeks, as a New Yorker / Canadian - I have to say hands down the staff was incredibly kind and extreme gentlemen. Eager to take care of my every request small or extremely specific. As an interior designer I found that the rooms were tastefully furnished with modern hard loft, yet cozy vibes. As for the Turkish breakfast - if you haven’t experienced it - come without expectation of what it should be. A wide selection of fresh fruits, a great selection of delicious Turkish cheese and veggie spreads - I would highly recommend at least trying it once with a traditional cup of tea. As for the location, the soundproofed room I was in faced the Main Street where the infectious energy of the street left me eager to go out and discover the mixture of amazing restaurants, pubs, clubs, vintage clothing shops and so much more. What sticks with me the most is that I left there with the feeling that I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in Istanbul. The team works extremely well together to keep the property super safe, clean and ... feeling like a second home.
This is not a paid post - I rarely write reviews unless I feel they are earned. Give this hotel a try and I hope you walk away with the same feelings I did.

Very nice located hotel! Right on the Taksim Square, you simply cannot find a better location. Room was very clean, service very good and people working there were just amazing!!!! Very nice and helpful. In the hotel you will feel like at home;)
Rooms are small. Bathroom is small too .
We booked 6 rooms with a big family group. First time in Turkey and the hotel was a disappointment. Breakfast was ok small dining at the GF. Location is ok
near restos , bars, cafes and shops within the vicinity . Location though is not so easily accessible by cab taxi, since it is located in an alley . Especially we were with elderly we needed transportation to be accessible.

The staff are very professional and helpful specially Mr Azad.
One of the worst properties I’ve ever stayed at. Terrible Customer service Aziz Anbalay (manager) to be exact. Ac was not working. Room had a weird smell to it. Basic breakfast. Would not recommend this hotel to my enemy.
