Worth every penny and more. This hotel was perfect in every way. Centrally located inside a historic area. Chic and over-the-top decorated rooms each with a classic ottoman bath. Excellent service. An authentic hamam underground with a reasonably priced spa menu; we did the Turkish peeling and loved it.
It was our best stay in Istanbul.
Service and atmosphere is great!
Anything and anytime was taken care of for us. Even little needs. We felt very comfortable.
We really liked the conception of housekeeping.
We were so happy we can call cleaning exactly when we need and they don’t come without invitation.
Ozlem and Mesut (sorry for spelling) were such caring about guests, hotel is lucky to have such employees. Also can’t say anything bad about other people working there as everyone were very helpful and nice.
The most impressive was that they customized breakfast for us. They saw we don’t eat the food and brought us next day what we like. It was so sweet. And then they noticed what fruits we don’t eat and didn’t put them any more. How great service! The dinner service and reception/concierge was also exceptional.
Just perfect, I had a feeling that we made the best choice to stay there, I really couldn't see a better option whilst walking around in the neighborhood...staff are so helpful and friendly, they accommodated all our requests, even when we requested to have in room dining in the restaurant terrace they accepted happily.. rooms design is nice, and being adjacent to all the top places is the best location you can get... congratulations to all the staff and keep it on...
My husband and I spent 3 days at the hotel and everything was perfect.
Our room was very large and looked pretty new. They paid really close attention to decoration details that made a huge difference. Everything was stunning.
Besides, staff was extremely friendly and put a lot of effort to make our stay pleasant and to solve our doubts. Special thanks to Ayhan who tried to help us and make us comfortable all the time.
I had a turkish bath at the spa and I really enjoyed it (not only the service but the atmosphere of the spa).
Location is great and very convenient if you come to Istanbul for the first time and want to go to the main touristic spots: it's in a narrow street between the walls of Hagia Sofia and the Palace. Couldn't be better.
We highly recommend this hotel and looking forward to coming back.
One of best hotels I've ever stayed, set in historic Ottoman houses occupied by state officials during 17 and 18 c.
The hotel leans on Topkapi palace fortification walls with direct views of Hagia Sophia - imagine you wake up with that sight.
Rooms are Ottoman era style, fully renovated and luxurios, more than spacious.
All the staff is outstanding, going beyond your expectations.
Spa, pool and jacuzzi is out of this world - in a Roman cistern. Make sure you make a reservation.
Absolutely best place to stay in Sultanahmet with all major sights in a 5 min walk radius. Pics coming soon.
