I typically do not leave review, but this hotel and stuff is just 10/10. Design, attitude, friendliness. All perfect. Whoever created this hotel is a pure genius. Perfect place to stay with friends for a few days to explore the city.
Magnificent boutique hotel with spacious and beautifully designed rooms as well as the most helpful staff. During our five night stay at Room Mate Emir Hotel, we couldn't be happier with the experience. The duplex suite was clean, well-lit, spacious with very nice amenities from bathtub, shower, to microwave and stoves. Minor imperfections include loose light switch panels. The staff were definitely a big part of our wonderful experience - they helped from translating taxi driver's demands to retrieving a lost jacket to printing and ordering. The location was very close to many shops and restaurants and allowed us to walk everywhere (even to Otakoy and Hagia Sofia). The small downside is that it is located on a narrow windy one way street so it is a bit difficult to access by car or taxi (expect 10 min delay).
Overall, I recommend this to everyone and personally I would definitely consider returning here during my next visit in Istanbul depending on the price (we got a good discounted rate due to boxing day sale and the winter season of few tourists).
We stayed here twice during our 5 week stay in Turkey. Loved the place so much! Accommodating staff, lovely and spacious rooms! We got the duplex and it was everything we wanted. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stay within the heart of Istanbul and walking distance to everything.
The rudest staff ever. They made a big deal about guests visiting me at the hotel. Not recommended.
