On exploring Sant Angelo more during our stay, Casa Celestino seems to easily be the best hotel option. Well appointed, tidy but simple rooms which are diligently reset by the hotels friendly staff each day. We didn’t have a car so parking was not an issue, but would be if you do have one. A simple continental breakfast is served each morning in its over water, cliff side restaurant as part of the room cost and every room has a westward facing balcony to enjoy the sunset each evening. Casa Celestino’s best feature is its location. Positioned In a calm, protected bay, it doesn’t get the strong ocean gales some hotels higher on the hill get and we didn’t need hotel staff to drop and collect us in golf buggies whenever we wanted to go out exploring. Its only seconds walk from a swimmers beach protected by rock walls, shopping (including mini markets for cheese and wine supplies) and a huge number of restaurant options. Our room was on the first floor so stairs weren’t an issue, but there is no elevator so people with mobility issues may consider alternatives. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Very good rooms, with fantastic view. Good breakfast. Only problem is parking which is far (200 metri) and expensive
