This place was like an oasis following a week in Naples! A venue designed for relaxation which doesn't disappoint. The hotel offers a tranquil environment and the relaxed atmosphere and the staff are very professional and helpful. The local restaurants are also very good. But ..... don't expect fast wifi, nothings operates at pace here!
The hotel Semiramis was a great find. It is clean and comfortable and safe. The grounds with 4 swimming pools are meticulously maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is walking distance to cafes, the beach and Posideon Thermal bath. I would highly recommend this hotel.
We have traveled to Italy many times and always enjoy our time there, from the North to South and many places in between. We had never visited Ischia; many Americans are not familiar with this island in the Bay of Naples. So we did our research and came across Semiramis Hotel de Charme. My wife and I spent 12 glorious days there in August 2019. We took the superior sea view room on the top floor and the view of the bay and surroundings were picture perfect. The service and hospitality was excellent, from Luisa and Mareka at the front desk, to Ilaria at breakfast and lunch, and Teresa, our housekeeper. The grounds are beautiful and well kept, with interesting plants and fruit trees, and different pools that offer different settings. A short walk to the beach on Citara Bay, many wonderful restaurants close by, and easy transportation by bus or taxi make Semiramis a great location. Great value for the money, we plan on visiting again and highly recommend it!
Honestly having never been to Ischia first impressions are you NEED to stay here!! It's been family run for 40 years and it really shows.
From the friendly attentive staff to the cleaners, to the natural spring swimming pool with the beautiful trees, right to the amazing breakfast spread!! And oh did I say it's a 2 MIN WALK AWAY FROM THE BEACH!
Everything was spot on I will stay here again without a doubt and I have HIGH standards.
Can't stress enough how EVERY member of staff was amazing nothing negative to say.
Ischia is a beautiful little Island I recommend it for a week of relaxing maraika was amazing!
Not happy about being given a $150 surcharge when we had an emergency and had to leave early. Not good.
