It is actually quite hard to describe the understated luxury, tranquility and sheer relaxation this place oozes! We went here for our honeymoon last week and our expectations were quite high, the reviews are amazing and the pictures look stunning. Our expectations were not only met, they got smashed. The ease with which Nina's team and herself go above and beyond what we have been used to in other hotels are exceptional. From the provided mosquito spray and sun lotion to the paddle boards and kayaks and comfy mattresses and food. We had one of the bigger rooms with an amazing terrace, direct views over the bay and ample space to lounge, sleep, play backgammon and sun bathe. Taking into account we arrived at the very end of the season, the team was as friendly and accommodating as if it had been their first day. Nothing was too much, we were constantly being told, don't worry, relax, lie down, I'll do that for you - exactly what we needed!! The food is really good (lamb was like butter!!), the fish fresh and the local wines crisp and refreshing. A few minor negative points are the pillows, I'd have loved to have something more substantial, and the hotel is not entirely sound proof, so one does hear what goes on in other rooms at times. Nina and her team gave us some great tips of what to do on the island, which sights not to miss and where to eat (I covered some of that in a different review though). We'll definitely be back, and make sure we'll tell all our friends to stay there and see the colour of the water with their own eyes - it is really THAT green ;)
Amazing! A private, perfect, and romantic paradise. The staff are so friendly they become your friends. The island is beautiful but the bay is breathtaking. The rooms are perfect... you don't need anything more.
Absolutely stunning! Staff are amazing and so friendly, big shout out to Lara who was incredibly helpful from the second we arrived. Definitely the best part of our honeymoon. I love how private it is and that we have access to kayaks to have some adventure time. The only thing i wish they had (and the reason for only 4 stars, was going tobe 3) is more vegetarian food or vegan please!!!! I am vegan, not only by choice but i am also allergic to dairy, when i told Lara i was vegan she asked the chefs who answered "okay, but it will be missing tasty ingredients" i said "okay, vegetarian is fine" as i won't die or get sick with dairy. But even the vegetarian options are VERY bland and boring, i added loads of salt and balsamic vinegar to get even the slightest bit of taste, and they aren't obvious on the menu. Our last hotel in Croatia had the most amazing vegan dishes, eg cauliflower steak. So it's not unusual in Croatia. I wish they made more of an effort. If they change their ways and menus we will be back and definitely recommend to others.
Outstanding! Littlegreenbay was so perfect for the first leg of our honeymoon. The secluded cove with a private beach and all the water toys we could ask for provided relaxation and fun. Pictures hardly do justice to the beauty of the water here, which we spent hours swimming in each day, only to order drinks to our beach chairs once we resurfaced! Very easy cab ride into town (which the hotel is happy to arrange for you), and the staff were all beyond kind and accommodating. We only went into the main town for a few hours during our stay because we could hardly tear ourselves away from this place!
Very high class. Only 15 rooms so you need to be fast on your reservation. People that work here are real proffessionals. You can see that they love what they do. Nina and Nikola are amazing! The beach is great and the bay looks dreamy.
All in all untouched nature with the twist of high class. Worth every penny!
