It’s a such nice place to stay in reasonable prices and with friendly & helpful staffs. And moreover it has opened for less than 2 years. The most important thing is their good location, walking to Hualien Railway Station in 5 minutes!!!
Host is friendly and hotel is clean. Location near to the train station. Breakfast is very basic. recommended
Pros: The room is good size, not too big but not small. The shower is very comfortable. Everything is tidy and clean. The hotel is easy and close to reach via Rear exit from the train station. There is 1 7-11 nearby and 1 laundry store opposite the road.
Cons: Staff can barely speak English. Also my room smelled like smoke or the previous guest did smoke inside the room.
Do note that the hotel changed name into East Gate Boteique Hotel.
I stayed 2 nights. First night the fire alarm rang at 0:30am when we were sleeping. So loud and in Mandarin also. It seemed like someone smoke inside the room and kicked off the fire alarm of the hotel. Everyone went outside and seemed lost, I asked but staff only spoke Mandarin. It made me very nervous for the next night I slept there.
Except my bad night with fire alarm, I totally recommend to stay here.
The reception doesnt really speak English, otherwise it s a nice modern place
The location and rooms are good, parking is also convenient, but the soundproofing is a bit poor.
