It’s a such nice place to stay in reasonable prices and with friendly & helpful staffs. And moreover it has opened for less than 2 years. The most important thing is their good location, walking to Hualien Railway Station in 5 minutes!!!
The owner was very kind, and our child accidentally spat on the floor mat and quickly cleaned it for us. The mattresses and pillows in the room were very comfortable, plus the room was large and there was their own play space in it. The bed and breakfast does not have to go out to play all day long. When you are tired in the afternoon, you can lie flat. There are water spray and large swimming ring in the swimming pool. The children who love to play water will definitely love it. It attracts children ’s attention. There is also a sand pond in the bed and breakfast. It is made of cassia seeds, so you are not afraid to dirty your whole body. The venue is large enough for many children not to grab toys. Before leaving, the children also got modeling balloons. No!
Booked the reservation from the official website of this hostel a couple month ago. And be told that reservation comes with Happy Hour, and it took me by surprise. Seems like booked from the official website is a great choice for the customers. I do really enjoy staying here, the staffs in the front desk are kind and really care for the rights of the guests.
Parking: There isn’t enough parking space. Arrive earlier if possible.
Traffic is good as it is not located at the city center. Hualian, a eastern city, is not as crowded as other cities in the west. The tempo/pace is slower. The room is clean and good. The small gym is equipped several facilities.
Breakfast: dining area is too small. Go earlier if you can. At around 8 am, it is full of people. You need to wait for everything. Food is good in general. A wide variety of food is offered. However, as it is way too crowded, the quality is not as satisfactory as you expect.
Sometimes there are really positive surprises while travelling and The Leaf Inn is one of them!
Lobby area has art exhibitions and collection of old vehicles. They also sell nice local beers. Very hipster, in a very positive way. Rooms are also nice and felt quite unique.
Bit keep in mind, it's a bit of walk away from the centre of Hualien, especially if it rains.
nice stay there, they have basement parking lot, the staff is so nice and friendly ( they give us Discount ), the food taste not so bad and not so good, our daughter loved the cereal ... we will back again when we visit hualien ❤️
Great space and outdoor greenery, friendly and attentive service. The building is undergoing some renovation (noise, reduced accessible facilities). The restaurant quality seems to have slipped a lit (during weekday visit).
Fine for the price. We got a huge room with two big and one small twin bed. Vivid area. Bikes available for 20 TWD per rental.
Nice comfortable hotel. The room is big and clean. Breakfast choices are sufficient. Carpark are just next to hotel.
A good view of dong damen night market from the balcony. Responsive staff and good service. Clean room but pillow too soft.
