Four Season has impeccable customer. Went on Sunday for the exquisite brunch , but was close due to the 19. Instead we had brunch at its Bayou and Bottle which tasted like it came out of the frozen section of a local grocery and pass through a microwave. However staff was great.
The rooftop has a wonderful view.
Prior to arriving, I called because parking was confusing. The hotel staff that answered was super sweet and provided advice as to where to park. Being that it was a girls trip we had to be careful in the city. The staff was amazing the entire trip. I love the extra security by only getting access to the rooms floors by utilizing room key. Our view was okay, but the rooftop view was a sight to see. The bartenders at the top was so sweet. All the hotel was missing was proper parking near by, but it's downtown so you get what you can, right?!.
Highly recommend. Always plenty of staff in the lobby and at the curb to assist with anything you need. Easy upgrade to executive suite. Quick communication thru the app. Excellent workout area. They even thanked me for using my points to stay. Restaurant was good. Tons of local restaurants within walking distance.
The only nit pick is the outlets in the rooms. Very few considering the size of the rooms and they were some kind of safety outlets that literally ejected my phone chargers if I tried to use them. Bring an adapter with a ground plug.
Stayed last night with my significant other. The gentlemen that greeted us at check-in was very courteous and very professional. At checkout we were greeted by a couple of staff members that were very friendly(almost wanted to stay another night). I definitely will be back with my other half. This place is a jewel in the middle of Houston and will be our staycation.
Very nice stay at the Marriott. Downsides to this place is the 38 dollar valet parking and the people that riddle the streets at night. I also booked a corner room and received a regular room. We arrived late in the night so I didn't even feel like rectifying the issue. The room was really nice but the downsides bring it down to 4 stars
Nice hotel to stay at. The rooms were clean and the service was great. Valet parking for the weekend was 30.00 which was great because I did not want to walk. The view from 22 floor was awesome. The only downside was the room was twice the normal rate due to spring break.
It is always a pleasure to stay at the Hilton Americas. Even during a pandemic, the staff made sure enough safety precautions and cleaning methods were constant and continually maintained! Although I would prefer there were pool hours (late evening) time for adults only. Overall, still 5 star, tops in hospitality, the way a hotel should be!! Thank you Brenda, Jacob, best of the best!!!
First of all, The best encounter in this place is with Aerial Washington, the morning shift receptionist. She is very welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable, and genuine. She is the best face for this hotel. The hotel itself is good, rooms are nice and clean, and the location is awesome. We were very satisfied in our stay there. Thank you to all the staff, and a special thanks to Aerial from my kids for advising us to go to the museum of natural science. :)
Nice hotel. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Super dog friendly, my pup felt welcomed :) The lobby area is beautiful. I love that they kept some items of historic significance. Comfortable room with great bath amenities. Would stay here again, especially if my pup is coming along!
We stayed for one night over the weekend and had a great experience. We were greeted pleasantly at check in, had a great experience with Kevin in the lobby bar (which is BEAUTIFUL and open until midnight!), and really thought our room was comfortable. We had a great night’s sleep in over-sized King bed and it was very quiet. Great location for walking to many restaurants and it is very close to the ballpark. Parking is in a lot adjacent to the hotel, we were not concerned about safety. We would definitely stay again.
I've been to plenty of hotels around the Houston area and the Marriott Marquis Houston is up there with one of the best ones I've been to.
The location is nice and has beautiful city views. It's also a plus that there are plenty of posh restaurants all within walking distance.
The rooms are nice, It's nothing over the top, but my room was clean and well maintained.
What I enjoyed the most was the pool area. it was extremely spacious, and comfortable I also really enjoyed the fact that there was a waiter that was constantly checking in on my party to make sure we had food and drink in hand.
I will be coming back to this hotel. I am a fan.
Gorgeous views and amazing room. The service is top notch as well. In close to proximity to many great places. The valet attendant, Idris was highly respectful, detail-oriented and willing to go above and beyond! At arrival, front desk receptionist, Felipe also went above and beyond when our room was not ready. He was welcoming, respectful and continuously made us feel comfortable and important. In the evening, Marissa the bartender was knowledgeable, charismatic and accommodating. She was swamped with guests, yet she handled the influx of business in a professional and expeditious manner. She remained poised and in control at all times. She even explained the history behind Charlotte Baldwin and the meaning of “X” you see throughout the hotel. Our second time in Houston and we love staying here. Highly recommend it! We will definitely be back!
I had a wonderful experience! I booked 2 rooms across the hall from each other for 3 weeks due to the storm. The entire staff was friendly and very devoted in what they do. They were so helpful and made my stay so perfect and enjoyable. The rooms were cleaned on time and thoroughly. The walls are thick which is great when you want to sleep in. The location is great! Many places to visit and all walking distance. I will definitely stay here again!
Nice older building on the outside. It maintains that antique feeling from the outside to the rooms inside. Not only do they greet you at the front door, you also have letter from manager in room. Also welcomed with champagne. The beds, sheets, pillows were all soft. Breakfast was amazing and the free complimentary in room snacks. Only one thing I could say needed a little attention was the bathroom wallpaper and ceramics the age is creeping and needs upgrade. Highly recommended will stay again.
This hotel is amazing. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. They were very knowledgeable about downtown and always willing to help. I like the way they listen to your needs and try their best to accommodate. In this day and age with the Pandemic it is still nice to see a happy staff. Sunday upon check out the guy who was handing out muffins made sure everything was great with our stay. I will come back. See you soon.
Beautiful, unique hotel. It's like stepping into history when you walk in. The lobby area is gorgeous, with the original pillars and vault of the bank that once stood there. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. Highly recommend!
