I highly recommend La Maison at Midtown and I do not mean that lightly. The level of southern hospitality is like no other. They take great care in the fine and minute details such as the decor, the amenities, cleanliness, and high consideration of the current times of social distancing. The breakfast was unique and different every morning plus you are in close proximity to the downtown and Midtown area so many choices to choose from for dining. I am pleased to say that La Maison at Midtown is now my new home away from home. Love you guys!!!
“A hidden gem!” is what I read in one of the reviews before booking our stay and a hidden gem it was indeed! A charming and cozy get away from our everyday life! The room itself was very clean. We stayed in a room that had a HUGE bathtub. We celebrated our anniversary here and the personal touches exceeded our expectations! To the roses and chocolate covered strawberries in our room to the anniversary music that was playing for us during our AMAZING breakfast! Chef Matthew is one heck of a chef! Very friendly and easy to talk to. He truly made us feel at home. We loved every second of our stay and we will continue spending our anniversaries here at La Maison in Midtown as our own little personal tradition!
I went to Houston for the first time from 12/26/2020 to 12/30/2020 and chose to stay at La Maison for the four days I was in town. It was incredible and then some. The owners are very sweet and the chef, Matthew, is very cool, easy to talk to, and gets BUSY in the kitchen. 100% recommend. I don't know when is the next time I'll be in Houston, but I DO know that when I go back, I'll be staying at La Maison. Don't even bother shopping around, just come straight here.
It's beautiful! The location is perfect for walking to nearby restaurants or taking an Uber anywhere. The rooms were decorated so lovely and very clean. The owners and chef were very welcoming and friendly and we absolutely loved staying there for my Husband's birthday this month!
Absolutley the Best Bed and Breakfast stay. It's centrally located within walking distance to a many local restaurants with various cuisine.
We arrived late, but a personal note was left for us and we were able to contact Sharon, directly, for access instructions. This was the beginning of a fantasticl stay.
The facility and rooms are charming and comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful...thank you Chef Matt Williams.
We look forward to our next stay.
