Reviews from visitors:
Great hotel. We chose based on location (close to museum district) and the fact that it's pet friendly. The room was very nice and clean, as was the rest of the hotel. The bartender was fantastic, and she makes a damn good negroni! The valet service was great as well. Would absolutely stay here again.
I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel.
The only thing I would like to see is a menu with expanded items or at least a rotation of some kind. The soups are good but just a bit
salty. Love the ButterNut Squash Soup and Tortilla Soup. Like the Fried Cauliflower and also Turkey Sandwich I substitute a Croissant
for my bread. Menu limited you can find something, but it is a bit boring. I’d love to
get grilled chicken plain with maybe a baked
potato and salad.
We have been coming here to stay for medical reasons over the last year. We are
always treated respectfully and with kindness. I do prefer it over the Marriott across the street because of the staff.
The rooms are well lighted not dark and the
bed is comfortable. Rooms are very clean.
I would highly recommend not choosing this hotel. The management does not care about their customers, only their bottom line.
My wife and I stayed here along with our two kids (including a newborn) during the snowstorm a couple of weeks ago because our place did not have power or water. When the hotel lost water, the staff were less than accommodating. They wanted to charge us $5 for water bottles and did not refund us any money for our room. They said “it’s not our problem we didn’t have water”. Just don’t understand why a huge company like this thinks it’s okay to capitalize off their customers during an emergency.
Don’t stay here.
Alot of the higher-end Hotels ive visited in Houston lately have been very disappointing and not the facility itself but the staff the front desk in particular. Listen I know is most hotels be nowhere near capacity there probably a bit bored but I know if I was a manager or an employee working at a hotel with less than half capacity for the last nine months I would be treating every guest golden besides that the rooms were surprisingly big well laid out look to be recently renovated and it being someone who stayed in over 200 different hotels a year I had gone to hate hotels but I really really like the feel end the layout of these rooms. Just the front desk people have be a little nicer or should I say a lot less rude and they've got a home run there as hotels go
The fact that you guys had no water or sanity sewer was most definitely a big inconvenience. This wasn't communicated during the booking process which was a huge disservice. This was by far my worst hotel stay ever!!! I was told by the receptionist that all the hotels in this area was experiencing the same issues however The Wyndham had hot water and there were no sanitary sewer issues.
Nevertheless, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone! If I could rate my stay zero stars I would.
