Cute, quiet, and cozy! Many places within walking distance. The guidebook in the hotel rooms are informative. A sweet welcome page, list of amenities, local places, etc. see pictures.
I've never even walked into a room there, so I can't speak on the quality of the rooms. However, I have spoken with the manager Alex. She went out of her way and helped me with a very unique situation in which my mentally ill sister was staying there at the BnB. If not for her help, my sister could have died. No kidding. If the rooms are half as good as the help, you should stay here. Thank you, Alex! My family and I are forever grateful.
My experience was very underwhelming. Honestly, it was a nice historic home, but I couldn't justify the cost of 500 dollars for a 4 night stay there. All that I was provided with was a bed and bathroom. I could have gotten way more space in a hotel, without having to wander around it for things or wonder how to adjust the temp, for the amount that I spent. The kitchen area was pretty dark, as most of the common area was very low lit. I felt like I was intruding by walking around trying to find the microwave late at night. There was no breakfast provided due to covid, which I understood, but there was never a point where any staff was present during my stay. At one point, I had to text someone to inquire about changing the thermostat because it was too warm. Maybe the bed and breakfast isn't for me.
The location was great as well as the accommodations. Our room was very nice, clean and bed really comfortable. Breakfast wasn’t being served due to COVID-19. Coffee was available as well as breakfast bars and cookies. A few more choices such as fresh fruit or yogurt would have been nice. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable and we would love to stay again sometime.
Booked a last minute, one night stay for a short getaway. The host I spoke with on the phone was very kind and accommodating. The check in is all self run right now and went smoothly. The house and room was very clean and quiet. There is a charm to this house that is hard to describe. It's like taking a step back in time for a moment. I think the house is over 100 years old. Definitely unique and different than a standard hotel room. The surrounding area seemed safe and there are several shops and dining spots within walking distance. The only downside was that they were not serving breakfast while we were there which I was looking forward to. From my experience, this is a great place to stay and I will likely return in the future.
