Very nice stay at the Marriott. Downsides to this place is the 38 dollar valet parking and the people that riddle the streets at night. I also booked a corner room and received a regular room. We arrived late in the night so I didn't even feel like rectifying the issue. The room was really nice but the downsides bring it down to 4 stars
Room was clean and nice. Area outside the hotel is not good. Did not feel safe.
My AirPods were stolen from this hotel!!. The manager Mr. Tucker was absolutely no help. Marriott was no help. My concerns were not heard and I was told “well I guess you should file a police report.” Don’t stay here if you value honesty and decent customer service.
Steer clear if you can. There are other hotels a couple minutes away that are much more accommodating, actually have a functioning thermostat and shower, friendlier staff, and no $40+ parking fee (LOL).
The thermostat in the rooms do NOT work. We had set it to temperature but overnight it dropped to 10+ degrees below the target temperature. The shower water temperature can also not be changed, so if you like lukewarm showers, this is your place.
There is also a $38.00 + tax overnight parking fee, which would come out to a $40+ charge (more than 50% of how much the room cost)
Shower gel was also not stocked up in the shower.
Staff also fairly unfriendly and terse.
Avoid.
The hotel had a great smell! I can still smell it. There’s a Starbucks downstairs which was awesome for the morning. The rooms were nice for such a great price.
