We stayed at Cambria one night for our anniversary! It was super packed over the weekend—The staff was nice, but the hotel lobby was not the best, our room was okay, I’ve had better. Only 2 elevators at the time were working. Valet, was horrible! Had to wait a while for us to get our vehicle, the guy had keys all over the place. I should have took a picture! Anyone probably could have walked by and took a few keys if they wanted to. They charged my debit card more than it needed to be charged, that was not okay. Definitely got my money back, by calling my bank and they fixed the issue right away. I wouldn’t stay here again. I do recommend C. Baldwin Hotel! Way better, and you’ll enjoy the atmosphere better.
Beautiful hotel!!!
Definitely book through choice hotels it could actually be cheaper than booking in person.
Parking is free across the hotel. Or any “p”.
Valet parking is 35.00 a night. If you call the call center will say it’s 25.00 but the managers at the hotel will say they have nothing to do with the call center.
The rooms are spacious and updated with today’s trend.
Rooms do have a safe inside them so if you need to store any weapons or valuables.
75.00 deposit upfront with your hotel and I believe a 500.00 deposit per the paperwork.
No parties! Or events in the hotel rooms.
You do have to write down the names of occupants that are staying in the room with you.
There is a lot of homeless people downtown. If you plan to walk to the bars from the hotel be aware of your surroundings and keep your valuables hidden until you arrive at your location. Just an FYI.
We should have listened to previous guests and AVOIDED the hotel. I have never been treated as horribly by a front desk manager as we were today. Pay a little more a couple blocks down and get quality service and stay. Hope this helps someone else choose wisely.
We stayed for one night over the weekend and had a great experience. We were greeted pleasantly at check in, had a great experience with Kevin in the lobby bar (which is BEAUTIFUL and open until midnight!), and really thought our room was comfortable. We had a great night’s sleep in over-sized King bed and it was very quiet. Great location for walking to many restaurants and it is very close to the ballpark. Parking is in a lot adjacent to the hotel, we were not concerned about safety. We would definitely stay again.
I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the hotel and the spacious, updated rooms. We got the room for an amazing price. I didn't like the parking situation. Parking is $25 but there is no parking garage and its behind the building. It was raining when we arrived and we had to run to the front of the hotel and buzz in so someone could unlock the door. The staff let us in immediately but if they hadn't,we would have been outside wet. The rooms are nice and comfortable but they could have done a better job dusting and wiping everything down. I will visit this hotel again.
