Customer service was awesome! Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very nice, clean and quiet. Beds are super comfortable. There are several restaurants and stores within walking distance. We literally didn’t have to drive anywhere after checking in. Offers complimentary breakfast.
I travel 100% of the time for work, and the Moran exceeded all expectations. I stayed at Moran for 4 days. It feels like a home away from home. I was impressed with the room décor. The bed was comfortable and rooms are spacious. The customer service was exceptional.
Housing keeping was a little behind, had to wait to check in but Jessica made my stay very well. She is very professional and showed empathy for the situation. She is awesome!
The Wednesday of the winter storm crisis in Houston I booked four nights to stay at this hotel so that my 9-month-old baby would be guaranteed a warm place to stay. I checked in 3 hours after the 3:00 check in time carting my baby in a stroller, a huge luggage to care for my baby for four nights, and the diaper bag on my back. I was struggling to get all my stuff off the elevator just to be told by the guy at the front desk that they had canceled all of the reservations for the next two days because they haven't had water since Monday. So obviously I'm feeling panicked that my baby doesn't have a safe place when the power and water was out at my house. I asked why nobody called me to tell me it was canceled and he had nothing to report. Wasn't apologetic at all. I asked him how they would have even let me book if they weren't accepting and he again had nothing to report. So now I'm a frantic helpless mother of a 9-month-old baby and I have to head back out to find a safe place for her. If they would have told me in the morning, I could have booked a different hotel but there was not a single room open in the entire city because everybody was desperate. I was extremely disappointed in this treatment of their guests (paying $250 a night) in a state crisis.
Legit the most hospitable team around! I obsessed over getting a special champagne treat to my sister for her birthday who was a guest at The Moran. The team went all out to make her birthday special. !!!5 STARS!!!
