This is a small hotel with warm accommodating staff. Check in was quick. The manager Carolyn personally placed a call to me to make me aware of a booking discrepancy and gave me a parking discount.
I particularly liked the room because of the thick walls and lots of windows which I prefer over air conditioning. And I like the close proximity to the beach. Will definitely be returning.
Overall I enjoyed my time at Stay Hotel, it wasn’t quite what I expected, but had what I needed. My room was smaller than it appeared and same with the shower and beds. AC was able to get cool enough for me, but maybe not for some who prefer a colder nights sleep. Expect a significant fee for a late check out. Staff was friendly and helpful. It’s in a convenient part of town, but parking can be difficult.
The lobby was nice. That’s about it.
Rooms were less than satisfactory, there was a huge puddle of water blocking the entrance to my room. After informing the hotel staff, their “solution” was to give me a few beach towels to lay on the ground. This place desperately needs upgrading/modernizing.
Carolee along with the other workers at the front desk were really nice. Luckily they had a parking spot for our rental car each night! We had two rooms, one was nicer than the other, a nice maintenance man changed the batteries in our door lock when it quit working. You can walk to the beach and a lot of things are really close.
Location was good and room was decent. There was only 2 small lamp in the room due to which it was too dark. I wanted to use restroom after check-out and they didn't allowed that as well even after staying there.
