Shortest Best distance from the beach in the area. We had the best views and the nicest service. We appreciate the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel. Our balcony was a side view of the beach front. And from the front door, we had the view of the Diamond Back and the zoo. So we saw flamingos daily. Absolutely outstanding.
Overall a great experience - bring your own pillows if you prefer a feather pillow. They only offer one type of pillow and it feels like a $5 Walmart foam pillow. I’ve never been to a hotel that doesn’t have feather pillows, or at least comfortable pillows!
The front desk staff is amazing, and the view from our balcony was wonderful. It was so fun to sit out on the balcony in the mornings and evenings. They offer free beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas which was super nice!
No microwave in the rooms, but if you ask the front desk they will bring you one to your room for free! Definitely saves lots of $$$ on food.
I loved this hotel! We stayed in a partial ocean view room, but "partial" view turned out to be amazing! Spending time in the balcony is refreshing. They provide free towel and chair for taking out to the beach, which is very convenient. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Price is reasonable.
Where do I begin?! First and foremost, all of the 5 and 4 star reviews are a lie. Location of a facility should have nothing to do with the overall rating of the hotel. Long story short, we checked out the same day that we checked in. If you are visiting Waikiki beach and came a long way to Oahu do yourself a favor and never book this place. Aston Hotel, please close your doors and update your facility. My husband and I are extremely concerned for the building and the well-being of your visitors.
We live on island and was looking for a night getaway. Haven't stayed in Waikiki before but actually had a very good time. The hotel staff are awesome here. Can't say enough things about them. Always greeting me by name and very helpful and friendly. They were very accommodating and actually waived our cabana fee because it was cloudy and rainy that day, very nice of them. The room.was quite nice and had a good view of the ocean and city. Restaurant on the third floor had very good drinks and food. Location is great and close to alot of activities. Definitely recommend!!
