Clean, quiet and very private hotel. Relaxing pool and spa with a great gym. Most importantly, the best service I’ve ever experienced. Highly recommend this place to anyone.
This newly remodeled hotel is smartly decorated, modern and the rooms are perfectly designed. The 23rd floor afforded views of the Honolulu hillsides and the ocean. The small stand up balcony was enough for me being the high and parrots daily found perches nearby. Marble throughout and wall appointments were class. The bathrooms were top notch. A daily buffet just isn't your typical continental breakfast. Custom made omelets and waffles were some of the offerings. A pool on the 8th floor was a welcome respite and the views fantastic. Though a block or so off the beach access is easy and within walking distance to a lot of things in waikiki. Lastly, the service is extraordinary.
Ok Hotel, but Auwe!!! I just have to say it, as a Kanaka Maoli and fluet in ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi, the “translation” of the Hotelʻs name “the house of welcoming waters” is incorrect. I mean it might not be a big deal to others ,but if you’re in Hawaiʻi and canʻt even get a correct translation, that’s very embarrassing. Honestly, this is another case of Hawaiian cultural appropriation.

4 star for 4 star hotel. Brand new, staff extremely friendly. Grat breakfast buffet. Would love to stay again!
