I have travelled to Hong Kong on 12 different occasions and stayed for two to three weeks each time. I stayed at the Mira each time. The rooms were well furnished and well maintained. I fully enjoyed the breakfast buffet each day before I left for work. It is located down the block from both a 7-Eleven and a Marks and Spencer food store, so I could buy the small things you always need. And it was connected to the Mira Mall, a fine place to wander around. By walking down Nathan, I would run into at least two large malls - The One and iSquare. And the walk down to Harbour City and the Star Ferry was quite short. The MTR stop was only two blocks away. Great location and great hotel. And the staff were wonderful, helpful and always accommodating.
I'm retiring soon and will not be travelling to Hong Kong again. I will miss staying at the Mira. My best wishes to the hotel and its staff.
I didn't stay in their room. I just went to their cafe, and it has a very high ceiling, so it's good for some private talk, and it is quite quiet. But the entrance is a black glossy door. Well, I understand it's kind of design, but it is not my cup of tea.
We had a wonderful celebration stay at The Mira Hong Kong. Staff (Wendy) from the reservation department replied my email promptly and answered my request in a very polite and professional way. We are very pleased for the big surprise when we checked in and thanks for the arrangement from all the team members (including guest relation and reception). Definitely will stay in The Mira Hong Kong again! :]
We booked for a staycation for the night and we had a great time. We were treated in every aspect of professionalism, friendly and motivated staff from the point of check in to check out. Room is well laid out with all the amenities one wishes. Excellent bedding and very quiet, as we were upgraded to a room with view on Kowloon Park. In the late afternoon we took afternoon tea. The food tibbits, service and been looked after is second to one. Great experience. We booked a movie night in their Mirathon floor. Superb. The movie house has only 4 of the best comfy leather seats where one can regulate the seating position. Movie chosen is great and the sound system is mindblowing. The following morning breakfast buffet served on the executive floor, is another great experience. Plenty of nice dishes to choose from all complimented with great staff. We experienced one of the fastest and professional check out. The hotel offers not only value for money, but delivers too. Perhaps the only negative observation is that the entire hotel is designed and furnished too dark. Why like that, I do not know.
We went to the Chinese restaurant, 国金閣。they have the best peking duck in HK and the wrap is thin n moist.
