Great location surrounded by pubs. Central is only 10 min walking distance. Rooms are specious and well maintained.
Good hotel at Central Hong Kong. Location is perfect, it is close to many restaurants, and public transportation. The mid level escalator is just a block away. The service staff is pretty friendly. The front entrance is not big but noticable and service staff is at second floor. We got a room at 3rd floor with the bedroom facing the main entrance. There is a bar right across the street and gets loud every night until very late, something to watch out for if you are a light sleeper.
Having stayed here many times in the past, and very happy with the rooms, this time for our Christmas holiday, it felt like we walked into a bathroom of a 1 star hotel! No shower cubicle, just an old bathtub with handheld shower with shower curtains....when you stand to shower, you have to place your feet carefully so you don't stand on enamel peeling from rust. I also felt let down that the management did not think to pre inform us as frequent visitors that this bathroom is so noticeably outdated to their other rooms and just accepted premium booking over the Christmas holiday. We didn't complain during our stay because it was mostly new young staff manning the reception and I didn't want to get even more stressed out by complaining.
