Rosewood experience was just sensational! I booked a suite for my friend’s birthday celebration, and everything was just so perfect! Rosewood butler team helped decorating the suite very nicely, and helped me organize with birthday cake delivery, wine & flower bouquet selection, transfer in Jaguar, and also provided us with complementary champagne bottle and birthday patisseries for free, that I really appreciated!
Even though our suite was a “Kowloon Peak View Suite”, we got offered a corner suite on a high floor (37th) that partially faces Hong Kong harbour, with beautiful sea view from the living room at an angle (and Kowloon city view from the bedroom), which was absolutely amazing!
The suite is huge, with large living room, corridor, spacious bathroom and beautiful master bedroom. The minibar is complementary for soft drinks and snacks, and the hotel provides free whisky bottle as well :) (but other liquor and wines need extra fees). I was also amazed by the high level of details inside the suite, where every little space is filled with beautiful arty items, old-style Hong Kong ornaments, history books, cocktail mini-bar trolley, and other curated details.
Our package also included in-room breakfast and hkd1000 dining voucher that we could use at Bayfare Social restaurant (delicious seafood / Spanish style cuisine), as well as an access to the Manor Club where the servers were highly attentive and professional in their service, and the view from the 40th floor terrace is absolutely stunning!
That’s a shame we couldn’t try the infinity pool and the spa... as the hotel facilities were still closed because of covid-19 restrictions, but otherwise it was just the perfect birthday celebration weekend I was dreaming of!
A special THANK YOU to Ms Chikako Inaba and our private butler Vittorio Dincao, as well as all their team who helped me organize this surprise weekend for my friend. We’ll definitely come back for our next staycation!
Just incredible - service, decor, amenities, F&B options...and the Manor Club - surely the best hotel lounge in the business. Rooms don't come cheap, but the packages can be very inclusive and for a special occasion staycation (or vacation), it's hard to think of a better option.
First impression sucks. You need to line up for 45 mins to check-in. It’s staycation in the hotel lobbyLike checking in a Vegas hotel on the strip. I’d go to the Peninsula, Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton in HK.
Hardware of the hotel is nice but then amazingly the shower floor is already stained. Working team’s attitude is good. When we checked out, nobody cared. The elevator sent us to the basement and took us 10 mins to find our way out to get a taxi !! It takes leadership and management to create a brand name. It’s a shame.
It was a very nice hotel
All the staff were hospitable with great service. !
I was able to make good memories
Stunning tantalizing views of Hong Kong skyline and Victoria harbour.
Arguably one for the only few real staycations you can get from Hong Kong - one that you feel you are getting away and feel like you are on vacation.
Interiors are meticulously designed and executed - loved how it has Google Chromecast + airplay connectivity plus the Maison Couliers toiletries, even has a care kit with mask. Service is impeccable too - gym was closed at the time and was able to rent yoga mats. Very helpful Butler service.
