It’s a comfortable place for everyone to relax during the holiday. The price is reasonable and suitable to book here held a party or gathering. Very Nice!
Commune castle peak is a great accommodation, it shares the building with a luxury resort and the services they have are share, and I stayed here as an exchange student. As for the benefits, there is a pool, a sauna, a 24hr gym, a shuttle bus service, bay view, cleaning staff for the rooms that also provide clean sheets and you can make many requests to the front desk, for instance if you need a cork screw, a clean towel, to repair a broken lamp or a clogged toilet. Also, there is a large common room where you can chill and watch Netflix/have a party and meet other residents (mainly other exchange students). These are all the good things, BUT there are also some major downsides... The biggest one is the distance to university and the city; it takes 50 minutes from hotel lobby to CityU entrance, and about 40 minutes to the HK peninsula. This distance becomes worse after MTR/bus services, which result in very high costs (a taxi from HK Island is about HKD 170, from Tsuen Wan MTR it is HKD 40). Also, the pool is often times closed without real reason, and cleaning ladies don't really care if you are asleep when they come in to clean your room, the matras is pretty thin and you will sleep with 4 people in one room (which was fine to me because I had awesome roomies, but this may differ across rooms) and the shuttle service can be cancelled without prior notice. My stay here was very nice, I very much enjoyed it, but I would question if it was worth the 5600 HKD a month that I paid for it (which is still modest regarding HK prices tho)... depends what you are looking for.
The overall is above my expectations.Room for four people is large. Toilet and bathroom are separated which is good. Views from my room is also good. But the room is not that clean. There are shuttle buses from here to Tsuen wan station.
Probably best hostel I've ever visited. Nice staff, quite spatious well-thought rooms, a feel of a five-star resort. If you are into running, you can jog on a bank of the harbour. And there is a city beach nearby.
Nice prices
