2 years already I haven't been back to the Senvila. Would the hotel atmosphere have changed, the staff quality, the food, the small details, especially during the Covid period that reduces the tourism in the region?
And... Not at all!!!
The hotel is still a peaceful place, with attentive staff, the same quality in the rooms, the sense of details,...
Of course, because of the noticeable and dramatic drop in attendance, buffet breakfast is only maintained in the week-ends, replaced by a la carte menu the weekdays, but the staff is always trying to offer the best experience et find solutions.
Same for the lunch and diner, the menu is reduced but guests like us have to be understanding and accept little changes and see the full picture, this hotel provides a suitable environment to relax with an overall quality above its stars category.
The 2 only issues I'd like to highlight are:
- The behavior of some poorly educated guests, who think that paying for a service gives all the rights, including that of throwing away bottles, packaging of snack everywhere, leaving the area around the swimming pool messy, rudely talk to the staff and make noise whatever the hour;
- Please enter into an environment friendly dynamic, don't automatically change the towels and sheets everyday, reduce the one use plastic in the rooms, keep the household linen must be the standard, not the exception

Lovely and clean rooms, beautiful swimming pool area and great breakfast! Biggest thanks go to the friendly and helpful staff of Senvila! They even helped me to organize a birthday surprise for my partner.
We stayed one week at the hotel and we really liked that it was located little bit outside the busy center. The free shuttle bus and bicycles were at our service when we needed them. The small gym was also nice addition.
This is heaven, we spent five days and we loved it. The staff is very polite and they do everything to make you feel special. The pool area is big and beautiful, like the rooms. We will recommend the place to other people.
Modern, luxury, clean, peaceful hotel 3 km far to the Hoi An city center. Room are beatiful and the forniture are new and modern. Our room had a balcony with view on the swimming pool (very clean water but also very hot). International breakfast is served near the hall and unfortunately sometimes they didn't switch on the AC. It was very hot! Ask them to switch it on!
Staff is very kind, professional and friendly.
Facilities are: welcome drink, fresh towels, free bicycle rental, free shuttle to city center and AN Bang beach. The shuttle works from 10am 'til 6pm. If you want to go to Hoi An center to have dinner, you have to come back by taxi, unfortunately. By walk it should be ¾ km.
I prefer walking distance hotel, but the overall impression is very positive.

L'hotel è bellissimo, moderno, pulito con elementi di arredo notevoli. Le camere sono pulite, spaziose e moderne, arredate con gusto. La nostra aveva un piccolo balcone affacciato sulla piscina nella corte interna.
La piscina pulitissima, ma con acqua bollente.
Staff molto attento, sorridente e cordiale.
Colazione internazionale servita in una sala dove a volte non accendono i condizionatori e diventa una serra, ma penso basti chiedere per rimediare.
Welcome drink di benvenuto, noleggio bici e deposito bagagli gratuito.
Si trova ad almeno 3 km dal centro di Hoi An e intorno non c'è nulla. Visto il caldo non è consigliabile percorrere a piedi il tratto. Le soluzioni sono noleggiare gratuitamente le loro biciclette (di giorno), prendere lo shuttle gratuito da/per il centro (poche corse solo dalle 10 alle 18). Alla sera quindi obbligatorio prendere un taxi (3/4€ a corsa).
Bellissimo hotel, ma preferisco sempre gli hotel più vicini al centro.
Best value for money. Little bit far from old town. 20 mins by bike, 10 mins by cab, not easy to call a grab but you can ask at the front desk.
