The best accommodation we experienced so far in our 20-day Vietnam trip! Their hospitality was beyond any expectation we could possible have. Li and his lovely family were warm, kind and truly friendly with us, ready to sincerely help us with any problem or request we had with our options on our trip. The rooms were clean, beautiful, well organized and equipped. Also it is located very close to the old center but on the same time it is quite too! We definitely recommend the Rock Mouse Homestay! 1. Location is perfect! 2 mins from the main town. Which meant it was quiet at night but easy access to bars ect.
2. Hosts were so helpful, gave us so much info about what to do, but didn’t over do it! Every time we got back we got handed a cold bottle of water!!!!!
3. Free bike hire, great touch to be able to just take a bike and tour the town!

I had a fabulous stay at the Rock Mouse Homestay. It started of with meeting Lee the host who gave us a walking tour of Hoi An (because there was four of us) after we put our stuff in the room. He took us to the market and recommended some local dishes which we all shared and had fabulous Vietnamese coffees. He brought us to the tailor where he recommended we would get a good price and quality (and we did). He also recommended a place for dinner that had an excellent price for beer. The next morning we were treated with a fabulous breakfast with fresh fruits that was served on the roof balcony. Each morning one of the staff would get up and get us coffee. They did not make it there, they get it from the restaurant across the road. The place was clean, well decorated, and I enjoyed the welcoming smell of incense. It was raining hard when we were leaving and the staff escorted our luggage and us to the taxi with umbrellas. If I am on Hoi An again, I will definitely stay here.
Excellent location; great family hospitality, and fantastic value for money.
