The Rex Hotel is an icon in HCMC. Centrally located and part of the history of the city. They have rooms surrounding a central garden coutyard. A Cigar Bar, and, arguably, the best buffet breakfast in town. A five star hotel with high service quality and rich history. Recommended by Hanoidave.
Old school style hotel. Very near to Ben Thanh Market, Saigon River.
Don’t stay at this hotel. The first impression officer name Dung was so disrespectful to customers. The quality of the hotel was good but because of Dung I will rate 1 star
Great and clean room, excellent service and friendly staffs
Don’t be fooled by the 5 star tag and the pics online. They have a decent hotel gym but that’s about it. Granted it is a very old hotel (‘60s) But very little has changed since then. For a far lower price you can find considerably better hotels In the city in District 1. Breakfast was pretty poor in comparison to every 5 star hotel in Saigon and the rooms are extremely dated. 3 star quality with a 5 star price tag.
