First rate experience. Treat yourself. Big comfortable bed and a huge tub on the private balcony. The rooms were very nice and I felt like I was at home. Great staff! The entire hotel is very well done and striking. I felt like I was stepping into a museum.
The booking we made in Agoda had a problem wherein a breakfast must be included in our booking. However, after paying online, breakfast not included. It wasn't the hotel's fault but they just asked us to directly book with them making us shell out more money. They could have helped us with just sorting it but they said they could not do anything about it. The hotel room is really beautiful. But their services did not meet our expectations especially their buffet service and food. They gave us a table without any utensils nor plate mats on it. What's worse is, a cigarette butt was still on the table. We observed misplaced orders and long waits for the orders on most tables as people are still coming in. Even in bringing our bags, nobody was there to help us get it in and out of the hotel.
Nicely designed boutique hotel. Love the rooftop pool (though small) and the cafe downstairs - very reasonable price for good quality drinks, quiet enough and amazing tunes from their playlist. Friendly staff and good customer service.
Should however improve on the maintenance of facilities and daily cleaning of public spaces (the toilet areas on the rooftop pool, for ex). The jacuzzi also didn’t work when we stayed there but since we stayed only one night, that’s not a big deal.
Overall this is still my fav hotel in town.
Stunning hotel. I am going back there in December. There was a misunderstanding about my airport pick-up, but it was investigated and dealt with immediately (and it turned out to be my fault!!) Food is good, breakfast is fantastic and complimentary afternoon tea a lovely bonus. My only gripe is that I think the outside jacuzzi is not private enough - it felt a bit exposed. Loved walking around in the neighbourhood ( two excellent Japanese restaurants close by).
The room and pool was good. But bath at balcony do not make people relax at all, image you have bath at open area, smell exhaust air from restaurant nearby...
