It was my first time stay here for my birthday, I booked Riverfront Pool Villa (600). Its so peaceful and relaxing. The villa is large and very comfortable. The pool is cool with perfect view.
The breakfast, food and service were excellent and lovely staff. Mr. Dung, the butler for the villa, is so nice and helpful.
Must try the speed boat cruise by hotel, free of charge.
If you're looking for a short holiday break but you don't want to travel too far away from HCMC, then this is the best place to visit. It's like 20 minutes away from the city. They will pick you up at the ferry port in district 1 using their own speed boat. Free complimentary drinks like fresh juice, coffee or wine of your choice. The service and hospitality is absolutely great! Fresh baked bread always comes with your dishes and it's free. The air quality too is amazing which makes me feel like I'm staying at a modern resort in the middle of the forest. There's a pool too and the scenery is very relaxing. It'll take your stress out.

Check in was quick and easy. Upon arriving at hotel, I was greeted at the entrance by the staff. They unloaded my taxi and brought everything to my room. My butler (yes, a butler) gave me a quick tour of the place before taking me to my room to complete the check in process (with a glass of wine!).
My room was GORGEOUS and the bathroom was HUGE. I absolutely can not wait to visit again.
We have been regular guests there and also had some birthday and dinner events plus company incentives. Unfortunately the old key staff and management has gone and the new one is, how to say: no comments! No replies on questions, just standard copy and paste replies. Reservation phone number no one pick up and no calling back. For the prices asked the services must improve. From my point of view after 9 years of being satisfied, now I can unfortunately not recommend An Lam anymore.

We book the 2 bedroom Riverfront Pool Villa (the most expensive one) for our group, and the room we received looked NOTHING like the picture! They said we supposed to give them the picture of the room we wanted and clarified beforehand. WHAT? They said the room in the picture was already booked, then why did they charge us the same amount of money?
We paid so much and got a very poor-looking room next to the stinky sewer. The pool was dirty, there was no riverfront view. The manager and reception said we had to deal with the agent who helped us book, there is nothing they could do, which did not make sense. They totally ignored our request.
We will never come back. WORST experience ever
