It was such a nice and comfortable stay at Villa 46. Most friendly service and greatest hospitality ever experienced in Sri Lanka. The sea view was awesome. Can't forget the delicious dishes prepared and nicely arranged for us. Highly recommended
Awesome service. Everything with love to the detail. Extra wishes get respected. Great location with an amazing view of the sunset. Yummy breakfast and dinner (haven't tried lunch though).
We have been to various places around Sri Lanka. This has definitely been one of the worst ones - especially when you consider the price tag.
Why should you go there? The rooms are nice and clean, the staff tries to be professional und the location next to the beach and close to Hikkaduwa is good.
Why you should not go? The food is low quality, the staff does not speak English and despite they try, they have had no training in service at all. Mainly due to the incompetence of the general manager (who is also the chef), we cannot recommend this place to any traveller. Very bad planning, false promises and when it comes to inconveniences, he sends his employees forth instead of trying to solve them by himself. There are way better places in this price segment. Don’t go there.
Beautiful hotel with only 4 rooms so perfect service and attention to every need!
Empty beach and big waves (not ideal for surfing).
