We spent the last two nights of our honeymoon at the VIP Morro in Havana.
After having spent a week in cuba, passing through the big hotel chain experience for three nights at the Iberostar Grand Hotel Packard in Havana (which was very good) and then what were supposed to be 4 nights at the Royalton Hicacos ("5 star luxury resort in Varadero), arriving to this small boutique hotel in the center of Havana was clearly a breath of fresh air.
Not knowing where we came from ir even that we were on our honeymoon, from the moment we set foot inside the hotel we were treated like we were at home.
Firstly by Francy who was on her very first day on the job (but clearly has a bright future ahead of her) and later by the owner, who made us feel that there is hope for this Amazing city in what concerns hospitality and hotel management.
That being said, it is a small hotel with only 5 rooms, alocated in a typical old Havana style building, with a rooftop bar where the evenings are cheerfull and filled with good music, and also where an amazing personalized breakfast is served for only 10.00cuc.
The bed was big and very comfortable, everything was new and very well decorated, and the shower was excellent (what seemed to be a challenge all around Cuba).
For all these we thank the personal of the hotel for providing such a pleasent ending to our so special trip, and wish them all the greatest success!

I recommend this beautiful hotel located in Old Havana. It was opened a few months ago. Its 5 rooms very well achieved, large spaces, with second floor included. They have excellent service from all the people who work there. On the rooftop, there is a very entertaining bar for the night. It has breakfast service at 10 cuc, very rich and abundant. Excellent option to stay in Havana.
We were pleasantly surprised by the very modern and charming hotel, I would highlight its staff, the terrace, the bed and its location that allows you to walk to visit old Havana. If I were to go to Havana again I would definitely take this hotel.
