Very beautiful and charming little hotel in the heart of Vedado. Breakfast wast excellent and prepared with lots of love. Everything is nearby and the staff is excellent. The owner Elizandro is a very interesting man and I learned a lot about living in Cuba from him. You can see how much energy and love he puts in his hotel.
Special thanks to the manager Jorge. He makes the best cocktails in town and tried his best to help us with every wish we had.
I will definitely come back to this place Why should you stay in a state hotel without any personality if you can stay in a little gem like this
Excellent private boutique hotel in Havana. Great service and gorgeous cocktails. A place chic, spacious to stay at when you visit Havana. Free wifi and assistance to help you find accommodation in other destinations inside the island. Try it! You won't get disappointed, believe me.
I visited Havana for the first time and I stayed at this beautiful hotel five nights. A friend recommended to me and I didn't get disappointed. This place is just breathtaking with its colonial architecture and thoughtfully hand selected interior. You see immediately how much effort Elizandro put into this little gem.
I arrived late that evening and he was very welcoming and he also took a lot of time to show me around. The room was perfectly clean and I opted for the breakfast, which is delightful and served at the patio by the lovely staff.
As this place is close to the famous Malecón, it's a good starting point to explore the city. I usually discover cities by walking around, and Elizandro could give me some helpful tips. He even organised a very friendly city guide, who showed me Old Havana, and a cab to the Playas del Este. It was a very nice experience and I would definitely recommend anyone visiting Havana to stay at this casa particular.
I had a great time at Vapor 156. I booked my room very spontanously 2 days before my arrival in Havanna. Only two minutes after I've sent my booking request is already had a message from Jorge the manager who said he was looking forward to welcoming me with a fresh cocktail! And of course he kept his promise! My stay at this Hotel was too short as there was so much to explore! Elizandro and his team made did a great job in furnishing this classic cuban building with an astonishing selection of antique furniture. They've put a lot of detail not only in the common areas but also in every single room. For example I had a very stylish old telephone in my room.
The Hotel is located in central havana close to the famous malecon. You can reach the historical centre of havano within minutes by foot or a taxi which jorge or the receptions staff gladly organize for you. Restaurants and bars are nearby, but you don't really need to leave the Hotel for a delicous cocktail!
Overall I must say this was a great experience and i will definitely return once i have the chance to visit havana again.
Spectacular place I spent two nights in your hotel I did not know how to describe how good I felt.
