After spending 45min at the Reception my 2 Creditcards were debited 4 times for the amount as the personnel did not know how to use the supposedly new system. I was told that the three wrong ones are going to be credited to my cards “in a couple of days”.
After that I was woken at MIDNIGHT to come down to the reception because they realized they did something wrong. I asked if this can be done in the morning - no, because there is nobody at the reception desk in the morning (actually there was). 20 Minutes later I was allowed to go back to sleep.
When I asked to be granted a late check-out, I was told that I would have to pay for that. Thanks for the info, after waking me to straighten out your errors...
Never again this hotel!
We stayed here for our anniversary and had a very beautiful room. However, despite asking, we hadn’t had a proper Audio system which was announced beforehand. Also, the breakfast was very expensive and didn’t had many vegan/vegetarian option.
Great hotel for a weekend getaway trip to Hamburg. Check in was somewhat non personal as this was done on your own via iPad in the lobby. Otherwise the rooms are nice but not overly large. Ironing boards in the common areas however are terrible..
Phenomenal location, walked all over the beautiful city centre. City hall Just yards away. Hotel room was AMAZING as we had a canal view. Beds were super comfortable and room was quirky with full glass shower. VERY friendly check in staff.
