Really good location in the Sternschanze area of Hamburg. The area is teeming with great restaurants and the hotel is located across from the subway station, so all of Hamburg is accessible. Great breakfast and service that was both professional, very friendly and helpful. Absolutely recommendable.
Fancy rooms and impressive location. The staff was a little bit overwhelmed with the Covid19 situation but still friendly.
The hotel really is as beautiful as on the website. Rooms are large and well equipped, beds are nice and everything is very clean. Great location with easy access to the city.
The fitness facilities however, are a bit outdated.
Very near underground. We had “sleep room” with adjustable bed, very comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent BUT NO ICE CREAM! Apparently freezers broken, we were so looking forward to Mövenpick ice cream - gutted
Stay away in times of covid. Very poor service and little-to-no covid backup plans. I repeatedly asked for daily cleaning (they noted it 5 times), yet only had my room cleaned twice in over a week. One morning the cleaning lady unlocked my door and walked in without knocking (yes, without knocking at all!!??). They replaced the breakfast with an overly expensive albeit horrible "lunch basket" with 7-11/gas station like triangular sandwich etc... Next to the hotel the area is full of rats (I saw at least 10 walking to and from the hotel) and there are drug addicts and dealers everywhere, who will approach you every single day... I could honestly go on... Just overall a super sub par hotel that I would not recommend anyone, especially during covid.
