We stayed here in May 2019. We came to Genoa without a plan and stumbled upon this LOVELY hotel. From the beginning, everything about this hotel was absolutely perfect. The rooms are clean, modern, and spacious. We loved the decor of the hotel room and shared spaces. The water and snacks on the floor were also a great touch. Everyone on staff was so helpful. They provided us a map with dining recommendations.
What really impressed me was our experience after we left. We had shipped some souvenirs back from Genoa and unfortunately, it was returned by customs to the hotel. They (Stephanie and IIaria) were INCREDIBLY HELPFUL - fabulous, prompt, kind, compassionate, accommodating - I can go on and on about how amazing they were through this process. They were to coordinate with the shop we bought our goods from in a DIFFERENT city and get it back to us in perfect condition. I will be forever grateful and would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to ANYONE. Please stay here - you will not regret it!!

Great hotel highly recommended to visit Genova.
Location: Very close (5 min walking) to the port and the main squares (Piazzas). Many restaurants (for breakfast or dinner) are in the area. Bear in mind that the apartments are located in a fourth floor.
Maintenance: Rooms are comfortable, clean and nicely equiped.
Staff: Always very friendly and supportive.

Positive:
Very nice hotel in the perfect location of the city. Perfect starting point, with a nice view of the harbour during breakfast, to explore the city. Everything is within easy walking distance. Staff is very friendly and open to help. Upon arrival we weren't really happy with the view of the room. Once we pointed this out we were shown several other (similar) rooms and we could choose the one we preferred. An absolute great service! Quality of the food and the hotel itself is very good, and well organised to comply with Corona regulations.
Negative:
25 EUR per night for parking is quite excessive. Would advise to apply a more reasonable fee. Especially given the parking spaces are VERY small and a significant amount could not be used as a number of cars (including ours) did not properly fit in the spots.

The room was spacious. The bathroom water pressure was amazing to take a cool shower after a busy day. However the breakfast was not as per five star hotel standards. The reception staff were really helpful but some of the restaurant staff were not polite. I would treat this a four star rather than a five star hotel

I travel a lot for work and pleasure and I struggle to think of a hotel I've stayed at with better value.
The location is fantastic, LOVED the design- breathtaking centuries old lobby with modern yet comfortable rooms. However, the staff was the best of all. They did everything they possibly could to make my stay comfortable, enjoyable and easy. Before I arrived they provided excellent directions to the hotel and throughout my stay they were incredibly responsive on Whatsapp. In their shoes, I would have considered myself a bit high maintenance- asking for help with quite a few things- but as they excel in hospitality, they seemed to enjoy helping me. I am very grateful.
To answer a few other comments about the hotel, my AC worked perfectly, my room was quiet (and I am a very light sleeper). The bed was comfy, there were numerous outlets. I went alone and felt safe walking back in the surrounding street at night. Driving in Genova for the first time, alone, is confusing but that is not the hotel's fault- they do everything they can to help. My impression was either they've adjusted things from complaints AND/OR the people who complained missed things (for example, the AC totally works when the windows are shut. It's ridiculous for the AC to work with windows open). I fully agree with the feedback about breakfast- it is delicious and international and served with love. It's also a very smart, customer-centric solution to COVID and other hotels would do well to copy their model. I'm probably relatively conservative/concerned about COVID safety and I felt absolutely safe with the measures in the hotel.
They care, it's a beautiful hotel and perfect location. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. My NPS is 10.
One tip for others, I was super confused finding the parking lot- again, not their fault. I ended up in Marina Park that was probably the same price/better as their discount, not right by the port but a 10- 15 Eur taxi to the hotel.
Thanks again for an awesome stay!

We were upgraded to the one next door so it was a nice hotel, nice rooms and great roof top bar. Staff at the front are fairly nice snd helpful except Valentina who knows nothing of customer service and was quiet rude which was a shock, she definitely needs some training how to speak to and deal with guests at a 5 star hotel. Hotel is near the train station.
9 Hotel Nologo

A modern contemporary design with each floor having a different music theme, the rooms and bathrooms are smallish but perfectly adequate for short stays, the room is comfortable (although I would liked another pillow) and spotlessly clean. The hotel is located on a pedestrianised street a few minutes walk from the train station and airport bus stop. The only negative is that the hotel rooms are not very well sound proofed and it was a little noisy, but this was not a major issue. Given the price paid for the room, it is highly recommended for a short stay.

The hotel itself is nice! Modern lobby, good rooms, but the best of the hotel is the service. Everyone, without exception, is very professional. Lovely people who are passionate for what they're doing. Recommended without any doubt. Thank you

Really exceeded our expectations. The location was excellent. Just within the caruggi which brings the real feeling of Genoa while also only a staircase away from the larger streets with the shops and metro station. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout and one of the few places which allowed late check in. The room was modern in style with a comfortable bed and good shower. Only one minor thing we missed, would have loved more storage space or hooks to hang things on.

Overall, we had a lovely stay at this hotel. The rooms are big, spacious and thankfully have AC. The location is great too and very central to everything in Genova. Check in was easy and quick, and although we didn't get the breakfast ourselves, it was very cheap (€3 each I believe) and definitely sounded like good value. Our biggest fault was unfortunately the noise - definitely understand that with it being central, we're more likely to hear everything, but constantly through the night, there was loud music, a screaming woman outside the hotel (early morning) and we could hear all the breakfast being made / being set up as our room was directly across. Apart from this, we enjoyed our stay, just a warning if you're looking for a great night's sleep.

Perfect for staying in Genoa!
The rooms were very clean, spacious and quiet and the breakfast was great.
They adjusted perfectly to the Corona situation and adapted the breakfast process accordingly but still provided great breakfast & service.
Overall the service was very attentive and welcoming! Especially Sonia, the receptionist, made us feel very welcome!
