Very good value for the cost
I was travelling to Sopot just for a weekend and I paid for the entire stay at Soleil Boutique Hotel at once.
However, my flight got delayed by 13 hours and dealing with the not communicative airline at night at the airport wasn't enough.
When I arrived to the airport and just before getting my taxi and anticipating my long waited sleep, I received a notification that my hotel reservation was cancelled for no-show, and the reservation is not even refundable.
Coming there during the peak of the season and during the weekend also meant that all the hotels in the town were fully booked.
When I called to the hotel, they told me that not only my reservation was cancelled, but they have already sold the room and had no rooms available.
Eventually, they also offered to do a partial refund to me. However, my whole trip was ruined, because I could only get hotels for 1 night and had to move every single day and paid significantly more than expected.
I was told that no-show is in their policy and they are not even supposed to give me any refund. So I should thank them that they agreed to give back any money at all.
What frustrates me in the whole situation is their attitude to clients. Was it difficult to send a message or give me a call and ask whether I'm still coming? Surely, there was plenty of time to resolve this situation in a much nicer way.
Therefore, I'm not recommending this whole for their attitude to the guests. If they get an opportunity to get more money somewhere else, they won't hesitate to ruin your holiday.
One of the best location in Sopot. Nearby EVERYTHING. Excellent services, quality on every spot. Go ther. It is a must
Very comfortable and modern place to stay. Professional and helpful service. Unfortunately no desk to work with laptop inside the bedroom. Good breakfast. Definitely a recommendation.
